During our May 2025 stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we had the most magical surprise — Daisy Duck, Chip, and Dale arrived in style, hopping out of a Disney character van right outside the resort. I barely had time to grab my camera before they rolled away, but I’m so glad I did!
Even though we’ve stayed at many Disney resorts over the years, this was the first time we’d ever seen this special van or watched characters make a surprise appearance like this. I guess we were just in the right place at the right time — and isn’t that part of the magic?
These are the moments you can’t plan for: the spontaneous character visits, the unexpected pixie dust, the smiles that come out of nowhere. It’s magical moments like these that make a Disney vacation truly unforgettable.
